What working in insurance has taught me: Insurance was not on the Top of my list of Careers when I started in 1988. I was in a severe automobile accident in 1986 and learned the hard way that I did not have the right insurance – and worst of all, I was insured with Farmers Insurance. I learned that it was not the Company but the Agency that made the real difference. Farmer’s is a good Company. It’s a good thing that my agent at the time did not take the time to make sure that I was properly covered, because if he had I probably would not be an Agent today.
